Dear Catríona,
Where to start? Thank you so much for everything you did to make our ceremony truly memorable and magical and most of all, authentic and true to who we are.

About me
Hello! I'm Catríona Cullen and I am an Entheos Family Celebrant, living in Bray Co Wicklow.
I am registered to solemnise, celebrate and legally carry out weddings here in Ireland, adhering to the legal stipulations as outlined by the overseeing body; see HSE for more details on legal requirements for marriage in Ireland and to book a marriage notification appointment with the registrar.
I am also a celebrant for Vow Renewals, Commitments, Naming Ceremonies, Family Affirmation Ceremonies, and all Family or Individual occasions.
I love Celebration and connecting with people, sharing stories and adding to the layers of family and community all around us.
For me, it's a joy to weave individual and couple's stories with the age-old custom of celebration and ceremony where we take time out to mark life events and celebrate with family and friends.
I love putting a service or ceremony together, spending time considering the framework and content for each couple or individual, weaving details and preferences that the client or couple outline into the overall ceremony structure.
For weddings, the couple can have as much or as little input as they prefer; I have great ideas so it will all be taken care of and they can relax and enjoy a beautiful ceremony on their special day.
I speak English, Irish, French, some Spanish and am learning a little Japanese.
In my personal life, I love to spend time with friends and family, to travel, see films, attend theatre, read, hike and garden.
I am quite curious by nature and relish finding solutions and new ways of doing things.
I adore being out enjoying nature and exploring new places. I love coastal paths and walks and generally being outdoors, especially if it involves some birdwatching!
I'm a sucker for good coffee and am always on the lookout for new vegetarian and vegan food places to eat.
I am available to work in the Leinster area mainly but am happy to travel and I would love to hear from you and join you in your journey to your special day of Celebration!
FAQ
1. What happens next?
You get in contact, by completing the contact form below, or by email, text or other message, and we set up a time to chat, in person or via a virtual platform.
This is the starting point of our journey together towards creating and delivering a ceremony that is special and unique to you.
If you decide to book me as your Celebrant, I will reserve your chosen date and will lock it in on receipt of your booking fee.
2. Can we have our wedding at any time or day?
Yes, with a Celebrant led Ceremony, the choice is yours, although the venue must adhere to the HSE guidelines of being normally open to the public and with a postal address.
The day and time is not restricted with a Celebrant led Ceremony, so that is up to you.
if your Ceremony is symbolic only, then there are no legal restrictions.
3. How long is a Ceremony usually?
Approximately 30 minutes, with some flexibility, depending on the number of guests and the choice of elements included, for example, music, readings and symbolic elements.
4. What is my process?
The first point of contact after your initial enquiry, is normally a video call.
We will agree a date and time to suit you both and the call will take approximately 40 minutes. This lets us get to know each other a little and to discuss and get a broad outline of what your ceremony could look like. Ideas are discussed and suggestions are made, but no final decision takes place at this stage.
Ceremonies generally evolve over a period of time, and depend on each person and couple's preferences and what is meaningful for them.
Depending on the timeframe and your preferences, for a wedding, I would normally send a questionnaire to you both about 6 months out from your event date and we would schedule another chat then and begin the process of pinning down the exact details of your wedding ceremony.
There are as many calls and contacts as we need, but generally, I like to have the ceremony completed about 6 weeks before the date of the ceremony.
This should give you time to focus and enjoy on all the other elements of the preperations for your special day, while I continue to put the finishing touches to the finer points of the ceremony.
We have some good laughs along the way, which I love!
