Some ideas and thoughts about ceremonies and celebrations..

Celebration is one way of making a statement, making something public and involving your community.  Celebration and Ceremony has been part of all cultures for millennia and will continue to be for millennia to come.  For some, that is daunting, however, it also underpins how interconnected we all are, through many generations and across continents.

For me, I also think of Ceremony and Celebration as a way to be grateful, to take just a little bit of time to acknowledge the change that has taken place within us, and to move forward with these new circumstances woven into the fabric of our lives, and that of our family and community.
